Dimon Carrigan started the year in style, earning back-to-back Defensive Player of the Session Honors.

He ended it in similar fashion.

BABC's big man played tremendously in North Augusta, channeling his early-season play en route to the top defensive showing at the Peach Jam.

Carrigan averaged 3.8 blocks per game, utilizing his length and athleticism to become an absolute menace in the paint. In fact, Carrigan felt a bit slighted by the statistical operators. Upon seeing his stats against MeanStreets, a game in which he had 13 rebounds and five steals, Carrigan stated this; 'I had wayyy more than three blocks!' followed by a face-palm emoji.

Carrigan ended his season with a 16-rebound, 6-block performance against Team Takeover, cementing his status as the top true shot-blocker on the circuit.

Regardless of how many total blocks were tallied, one thing is clear; Carrigan is an elite big man. Syracuse, Clemson and Texas offered the Woodstock Academy (MA) product during the Peach Jam, so it's clear his defensive prowess is collecting eyeballs.
