Junior Elijah Taylor is set to start at center for Team Final in 2019, and the Imhotep Charter (PA) should have a standout spring and summer for the Philadelphia-based EYBL affiliate.
The 6-foot-97Taylor (247 No. 137) plays with an energy and a motor that should catch the eyes of college coaches, and he’ll need to play efficient defense without fouling against the nation’s best big men.
Taylor nearly averaged a double-double during the 2018-19 high school season and put up 16 points and seven rebounds in Imhotep Charter’s state championship win.
We caught a quick preseason conversation with the Team Final big man, addressing a variety of topics.
