The Battle for Chicago between EYBL affiliates Mac Irvin and MeanStreets was billed as Atlanta's 'Game of the Session' before the session tipped off, and it certainly lived up to the hype.
In a wildly-entertaining back-and-forth battle, MeanStreets nipped the Fire by a final score of 80-79. The teams combined to score 51 points in the fourth quarter, highlighted by big plays from MeanStreets' junior guards DJ Steward (247 4-star), Ahron Ulis, and Jeremiah Williams. The trio scored a combined 54 points, and they needed every one of them in order to fend off the 27-point, 11-rebound performance by Fire sophomore Michael Foster (247 5-star).
