Plenty of stellar performances were had at EYBL Dallas, but Daeshun Ruffin's performance against The Renaissance takes top honors.
To put it simply, MEBO Team Hood's star sophomore did everything he could to keep his squad in the game against the Rens.
Ruffin scored 51 points on 19-for-33 shooting, hitting 9 of his 16 three-pointers. The 5-foot-10 speedster dished out six assists and tallied three rebounds and steals a piece. The Renaissance had an extremely difficult time staying in front of MEBO's super-scorer.
The game situation also helped Ruffin's outstanding performance. MEBO trailed 63-30 at halftime, granting Ruffin the greenlight to get his team back in the game. MEBO ended up falling by a final score of 110-97, but Ruffin's offensive heroics were something to behold in the loss.
