With the first session of the 2013 Elite Youth Basketball League in the books, it's time to unveil the first power rankings of the season. Division C had a firm grasp on the competition in L.A., but can it maintain its ferocity through the entire circuit?

Here's an in-depth look at some of the top 10 teams, ranked by the D1 Circuit staff.

1. Houston Hoops, Houston
The Houston squad ran away with the No. 1 spot, shooting 55 percent from the floor as a team. The Hoops also netted the highest PPG (75.0) over the weekend and cruised to a 4-0 record.

2. Team Takeover, Washington, D.C.
Team Takeover had two close victories over the Georgia Stars and Jackson Tigers, but they still made it out of the first weekend unscathed, while notching the second highest PPG (69.8) in the league.

3. Team Final, Philadelphia
Three double-digit wins, third-highest PPG (67.5) total and the best rebounding team (52.5 RPG) in the league.

4. Meanstreets, Chicago
Tyler Ulis is cementing himself as a high-major point guard. Ulis helped lead the Chicago squad to a 4-0 weekend.

5. Expressions Elite, Massachusetts
Won close games over the Oakland Soldiers and Indy Heat to remain perfect through the first session.

6. Team Scan, Bronx, N.Y.
Came just three points shy of a 4-0 start – and earning a higher spot on the list. Team Scan shot 49.5 percent from the field and spread the scoring around.

7. Wisconsin Playground, Milwaukee
Rashad Vaughn (24.2 PPG) may be the best scorer in the EYBL. Teaming up with Chicago native Tyquone Greer, they make up one explosive backcourt.

8. BABC, Boston
Boston Amateur Basketball Club is the seventh – and final – team from Division C on the list. BABC was solid throughout the Los Angeles session, going undefeated and taking down the 3-1 St. Louis Eagles handily.

9. CP3 All-Stars, Greensboro, N.C.
Lost to Team Scan in the first game of the weekend but recovered well with three great performances to close the session. Nate Mason stepped up big to help out surefire studs Theo Pinson and LJ Peak -- all three are averaging 12.2 points per game.

10. Mac Irvin, Chicago
Mac Irvin escaped the weekend with a 2-2 record despite playing without Jahlil Okafor, Josh Cunningham or Lamont Walker. No one can argue against Cliff Alexander (13.0 PPG) being a top big man in the 2014 class.
