For many teams, their fate depends on how Saturday unfolds

In Pool AE1T1 has clinched a bracket berth by virtue of going 4-0 to start pool play. With only one game remaining , they have no chance of finishing outside of the top two in their pool. In the rest of the pool, California Supreme suffered two tough losses today to drop to 2-2 in pool play. They still have a shot at the second pool berth, however, as they play Team Texas Elite tomorrow and hold the tiebreaker over Team Takeover, who now sits at 3-1 in the pool. A California Supreme win and Takeover loss is the only scenario where Takeover does not advance tomorrow.

In Pool B, the two berths will go to Team PennySpiece Indy HeatMOKAN EliteTeam Final, or St. Louis Eagles. Spiece plays the New York Lightning tomorrow to close out the pool.  The Eagles and Team Penny square off head to head in a potential win-and-you’re-in scenario. Team Final wraps up against MOKAN Elite. There are too many potential scenarios to go over in this pool, but suffice it to say tomorrow will be interesting for this pool.

In Pool C, there is a tight race for the two berths. Boo Williams lost their first game of the day and forfeit their second, so despite being 3-1 in gameplay, they now hold an 0-4 record in the pool. Mac Irvin FireTeam ScanTexas Titans, and Houston Hoops all enter Saturday with a 3-1 record and the final games will decide the two bracket berths. Interestingly, Mac Irvin plays Team Scan and Texas Titans play Houston Hoops to finish the pool play. The winner of each of those games will secure a bracket berth.

In Pool D, the CP3 All-Stars lead this bracket with a 3-1 record. They can assure a berth with a win over Expressions Elite on Saturday. Four teams are sitting at 2-2 in the bracket – MeanstreetsHoward PulleyThe Travelers, and Oakland Soldiers. Howard Pulley plays the Soldiers to start the day tomorrow, followed by a Meanstreets vs The Travelers matchup. Meanstreets will have to play without F Paul White, who broke his arm in the second game on Friday. There are multiple possible advancement scenarios, which are listed below.

Scenario 1: Howard Pulley and Meanstreets win. Howard Pulley advances along with the CP3 All-Stars.

Scenario 2: Howard Pulley and The Travelers win. Howard Pulley advances along with the CP3 All-Stars.

Scenario 3: Oakland and Meanstreets win. If CP3 wins, Meanstreets makes it as the second team in from Pool D. If CP3 loses, there is a three way tie between CP3, Oakland, and Meanstreets, as all have gone 1-1 against each other. Secondary tie-breaker is used.

Scenario 4: Oakland and The Travelers win. If CP3 wins, The Travelers make it as the second team in from Pool D. If CP3 loses, there is a three way tie between CP3, Oakland, and The Travelers, as all have gone 1-1 against each other. Secondary tie-breaker is used.
