Simply put, Young dominated offensively all weekend for MOKAN Elite. Their closest contest was a 14 point win, as their offensive cohesion - triggered by Mr. Young - is on a different level.
MOKAN runs one of the most disciplined offenses on the circuit, and when that style is combined with Young’s dynamic offensive skills.
The 6-foot-1 super scorer also took home Performance of the Weekend, lighting up the NY Lightning to a tune of 36 points (14-for-20 shooting), five assists, two rebounds and two steals. What makes Young so special is his ability to dominate within the flow of their offense.
Young has to share the star spotlight with 2015 All-EYBL performer Michael Porter Jr., making his productivity and overall efficiency even more impressive. It’s easy to overlook his slightly high turnover rate, especially when he’s constantly creating opportunities for himself and his teammates.
Young is a force on the circuit, and he will be bringing home many more awards before the 2016 EYBL season concludes.
