Since the opening tip of the first session in April, Southern Stampede lightning rod Collin Sexton has been on a mission to prove that he is one of the most dangerous players in the country with the ball in his hands.

In Hampton, Sexton added to his league-leading scoring average by topping 30 points in every game during the weekend, which is just about the only thing Sexton hadn’t yet done in his magical season.

With few other viable scoring options on his team, Sexton has been the focal point of all other opposing defenses for some time now, and amazingly he has actually improved on his shooting as the season has gone on.

The EYBL may not have seen a scoring campaign as dominant as what we are seeing Sexton do right now, and it’s time to recognize how special his season is turning out to be.

The scary part? He looks like he is just getting started, and his best basketball is still ahead of him.
