Illinois fans, get your popcorn ready.
Future Illini Ayo Dosunmu went off in Week 5, collecting three huge wins behind some gaudy statistics.
Dosunmu started with the week with 28 PTS, 7 AST, 4 STL in a narrow loss to fellow Chicago powerhouse Curie, as the Mustangs were clearly hindered by the absence of injured forward Tamell Pearson.
The 6-foot-5 combo guard stayed red-hot in a bounce-back win over Kenwood, dropping a career-high 51 points, dishing out 11 assists, grabbing six rebounds and notching six steals.
Dosunmu closed out the week with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a win over Westinghouse, lifting his week-averages to 34 points, 7.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds.
The senior Dosumnu has proven to be one of the best guards in his graduating class, and should continue to put up jaw-dropping numbers as his team returns to full strength.
