The EYBL season hasn't tipped off yet, and Alonzo Gaffney has already started the season off in style.
The All Ohio Red forward committed to hometown Ohio State this morning, securing an elite recruit for head coach Chris Holtmann and company.
Gaffney will be a featured piece on All Ohio Red's 17U EYBL unit, and is just scratching the surface of his potential.
"I'm always looking to improve my game," Gaffney said. "The biggest things right now are staying consistent, working on my defense out on the wing, and getting bigger and stronger."
When asked what type of player Ohio State would be getting, and what he does best on the court, Gaffney gave a unique answer.
"Most players would talk about their abilities and things like that. Me personally, I would say I have a strong mental approach to the game. I have the ability to be coachable and be a leader."
Check out Gaffney and his All Ohio Red teammates when they tip off at EYBL Dallas on April 20th, and check out their preview in our upcoming 'Welcome To The Circuit' EYBL preview magazine.
