Terry Armstrong

Team: NIKE Phamily (CA)
Record: 1-3 (1-7 overall)

EYBL Indy stats: 20.8 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 1.5 APG,  1.3 SPG

Terry Armstrong played terrific for the Nike Phamily all weekend, averaging 20+ while showcasing a dynamic offensive floor game. He helped the Phamily pick up their first win of the season in a blowout win over Nike Team Florida, putting up 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Armstrong played with The Family during session one, and while he was productive for the Detroit-based EYBL squad, he took his game to another level playing alongside close friends Julian Dozier and Jimmy Bell. Expect Armstrong to continue his uptick in production in Atlanta and Hampton.

Gianni Hunt

Team: Oakland Soldiers (CA)
Record: 4-0 (6-2 overall)

EYBL Indy stats: 11.5 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 6.3 APG

Giannt Hunt showed out in Indianapolis, operating as the floor general for the defending champion Oakland Soldiers. The guard-heavy Soldiers are clearly paced by Hunt, as the 6-foot-2 junior put up 25 assists over four games - all wins. Hunt saved his best for last, putting up 20 points, five assists and two rebounds in a session-closing win over Pro Skills. Hunt is a solid rebounding guard (4.1 RPG), and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Expect Hunt to continue this type of production, especially if KJ Martin, Scotty Pippen Jr and Boogie Ellis continue to shine.

Alex Shumacher

Team: Rose City Rebels
Record: 1-3 (1-7 overall)

EYBL Indy stats: 12.5 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 4.8 APG

It took a session to settle in, but Alex Schumacher found his groove in Indianapolis. He started off in a full sprint, putting up 20 points, four rebounds and four assists while leading Rose City to their first EYBL win over MEBO. He dished out 15 more assists to close out the session, operating as the top playmaker on the roster without an injured Aaron Deloney. Schumacher is money from the line, going 15-for-15 in Indy. Schumacher will continue to be a vital facilitator for Rose City as they look to pick up more wins in session three and four.

Jaden Bediako

Team: UPLAY Canada
Record: 3-1 (4-4 overall)

EYBL Indy stats: 12.5 PPG, 58.0 FG%, 8.5 RPG

6-foot-10, 235-pound big man was a big reason why UPLAY rattled off three wins after a session-opening loss to Bluff City. Bediako secured double-doubles in games two and three, shooting 15-for-25 from the floor and collecting 22 rebounds. Bediako ended the session with another rock-solid performance against CIA Bounce in the Battle for Canada, collecting eight points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Bediako is one of the most physically-imposing players on the circuit, and he should continue to pick up high-major offers while bullying the opposition down low.

Joel Brown

Team: CIA Bounce (CAN)
Record: 1-3 (2-6)

EYBL Indy stats: 16.8 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 7.9 APG, 1.3 SPG

Joel Brown got better with every game this session, scoring 5, 11, 19 and 32 points in CIA Bounce's four games. He locked up a triple-double in the Battle for Canada, finishing with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assist in a loss to UPLAY. Brown dished out 26 assists for Bounce, proving to be one of the top facilitators on the circuit. The Brewster Academy (NH) is turning into a certified high-major prospect before our eyes, and should continue to put up impressive numbers as the season carries on.

Mitch Doherty

TeamBABC (MA)
Record: 2-2 (3-5)

EYBL Indy stats: 14.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 5.0 APG

Mitch Doherty had a great all-around session for BABC, scoring in double-figures in all four games while helping his squad to two season-saving wins to close out the season. Doherty's best performance came in a win over CIA Bounce, a game that saw the BABC big man put up 24 points on 8-for-11 shooting, eight assists and five rebounds. Doherty is one of the best passing big men on the circuit, and the versatility in his production is desperately needed by BABC.
